PTP – PROFICIENCY TESTING PROGRAM (ISO 13528:2015)

Our participation is a must – HPF operators and our lab-facilities are tested every year on the basis of ISO13528:2015.
Last March we applied for the following examinations  and we successfully passed them all!

– Tensile test at room temperature on titanium, steel and aluminum alloys;
– Hardness test on light alloys and steels;
– Vickers micro-hardness test;
– Metallurgical tests: austenitic grain size and surface contamination (“Alpha case”);
– Impact test;
– Electrical conductivity test.

In particular, five tests were particularly important to us as they are mandatory to remain the supplier of one of the most important aviation companies in the world.
